From here we take the 4WD onto the beach to meet our ferry at Inskip Point, where a short ferry ride will take us to the southern tip of Fraser Island. We head for 75 Mile Beach and find ourselves a nice spot to enjoy a fresh picnic lunch. Travelling north up the eastern beach of Fraser Island we head for Eli Creek. We park our 4WD at the start of the 20 minute walking track, taking us through lush coastal heath and thick eucalypt forest which opens out to the deepest lake on Fraser Island, the famous Lake Wabby.
