Blue Dolphin Full Day Whale Watch

From $80
Come whale watching and see the whales eye to eye! We offer Hervey Bay's truly unique Whale Watch experience on Blue Dolphin

During the months of August, September and October the Southern Humpback whale makes it's annual stop over in the calm waters of Platypus Bay on the western side of Fraser Island. It is here that you can see these magnificent mammals at their best and what better way than on the only sailing vessel in Hervey Bay's whale watch fleet.

Our catamaran is only 10.7m in length and 5 tonne in weight so compared to an adult Humpback whale at 11m to 13m in length and 35 tonne, we can give you that awe inspiring experience.
Our tour offers you a full day on the water and your skipper Peter Lynch is the Bay's most experienced marine mammal expert. His 24 years working with dolphins and whales include 14 years at Seaworld, a summer season with the Australian Antarctic Division and the last 10 years here in Hervey Bay as a dolphin and whale watch operator.

So on your travels along the East Coast make sure you leave your self a day to see the Humpback whales at the best whale watch destination in Australia. Be one of the few - not the many!
Lunch, morning & afternoon tea, beer and wine included.

Maximum of only 20 passengers on any day.
